The Chinese Technology Transfer Center for SCO Member States is an official platform for multilateral cooperation, established with the support of the SCO Secretariat, the Ministry of Science and Technology of China, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China. This center was officially opened on December 10, 2020, as a top-level platform to expand channels of international cooperation in the fields of science and technology, culture, economics, and trade among the SCO member states. Over 100 million yuan (15 million USD) has been invested in the creation of this center.
During the visit, meetings were held with leaders of state, educational, and public structures to discuss cooperation in the areas of scientific research, education, scientific exchanges between researchers and academics, technology transfer, and economic and trade activities among the Shanghai Cooperation Organization member countries.
As a result of these negotiations, agreements have been reached to establish a representative office of the Chinese Technology Transfer Center for SCO Member States in Uzbekistan, based at the Ministry of Innovative Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Furthermore, an agreement was signed between the Director of Consult Invest ITIC, Denis Kim, and the Head of the Chinese Technology Transfer Center for SCO Member States, Zhao Zhongyuan. This agreement entails providing assistance to entrepreneurs in Uzbekistan in finding new trade partners from SCO countries.
