The founder of Consult Invest ITIC, Tatyana Seliverstova, held a session on Russian-Chinese investment and industrial cooperation in Beijing

On June 13, 2025, a conference was held in Beijing under the auspices of the Moscow Government on the topic: “Cities of the Future: Synergy of the Strategic Partnership between Moscow and Beijing.” The event brought together leading experts and business representatives from Russia and China to discuss the prospects for humanitarian, investment, technological, and industrial cooperation between the two capitals.

One of the key sessions of the conference was the panel discussion titled “Development of Investment and Industrial Cooperation between Moscow and Beijing: Promoting Investment Opportunities,” moderated by Tatyana Seliverstova, Founder of the International Trade and Investment Company Consult Invest ITIC.

The session aimed to discuss practical measures for attracting Chinese and Russian investments into infrastructure and industrial projects, strengthening ties between the business communities of Moscow and Beijing, exchanging experience and best practices, and preparing recommendations for the development of systemic bilateral cooperation in the field of investment.

During the session, the following leading experts and business representatives delivered presentations:
• Sergey Chumichev, General Director of the Moscow Fund for the Support of Industry and Entrepreneurship, spoke about support measures for industrial enterprises in Moscow and the opportunities available for Chinese investors.
• Liu Song, Vice President of Xuandu Spatiotemporal Cloud Technology (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd., presented the company’s advanced cloud technology solutions and their potential integration into joint projects.
• Wang Dong, Head of the SCO Business Incubator in China and Director of the Center for the Integration of Production and Education at the China-SCO Institute of Trade and Economics, highlighted the prospects for joint initiatives and the role of incubators in the development of startups.
• Zheng Xuan, Member of the Party Committee and Deputy General Director of Qingdao SCO Airport Economic Zone Holding Development Group Co., Ltd., outlined international cooperation mechanisms within the framework of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
• Li Debin, General Director of Dalian Hengrui Weitai Technology Co., Ltd., presented his company’s innovative developments and technological solutions aimed at strengthening Russian-Chinese industrial cooperation.
• Liu Huaqin, Senior Research Fellow at the Chinese Academy of International Trade and Economic Cooperation under the Ministry of Commerce of the PRC, shared her expert perspective on the development of economic relations and the prospects for expanding trade and investment cooperation.
• Sun Kungyu, Director of the Coordination Office for Investment Promotion of Two Districts at the Beijing Investment Promotion Center, spoke about effective mechanisms and opportunities for facilitating foreign investment in Beijing.

The conference reaffirmed the high potential and strategic importance of the partnership between the capitals of Russia and China, outlined the key areas for joint development, and proposed effective mechanisms for the implementation of investment and industrial projects aimed at strengthening sustainable and mutually beneficial economic relations.
