The Chinese Center for Technology Transfer of SCO Member States is expanding cooperation in Uzbekistan

As part of the visit of the delegation from the Chinese Technology Transfer Center for the member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, on July 18 of this year, meetings were held in Tashkent with Aziz Atabekov, Director of the Institute for the Development of Digital Technologies and Artificial Intelligence, and Ulugbek Mannanov, Vice-Rector for International Relations, and Oripjon Zaripov, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, at Tashkent State Technical University named after Islam Karimov.

During the meetings, the parties discussed the expansion of mutually beneficial cooperation in the implementation of joint programs to create an ecosystem of innovative developments in the field of artificial intelligence, stimulating fundamental and applied scientific research for the development of useful technological solutions with subsequent commercialization; the development of an educational environment for international research activities; as well as interaction with Chinese higher educational institutions for joint participation in the design and implementation of educational plans and the exchange of faculty and students.

As a result of the meetings, a Memorandum of Mutual Cooperation was signed between Tashkent State Technical University named after Islam Karimov and the Institute for the Development of Digital Technologies and Artificial Intelligence by the Chinese Technology Transfer Center for the member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
