On March 4, the 5th Annual BRICS CCI WE Women’s Summit took place in New Delhi, India. Organized by the BRICS Chamber of Commerce and Industry as part of its women’s empowerment program, the summit was held under the theme: “Women Changing the World: Transforming the World, Shaping the Future.”
The event gathered official representatives from 14 countries, including Venezuela, Ethiopia, Indonesia, India, Russia, Australia, the USA, China, Belarus, the Kingdom of Lesotho, Iran, Kazakhstan, Israel, and South Africa.
Founder of the international trade and investment company Consult Invest ITIC, Tatyana Seliverstova, participated in the panel discussion “Women Changing the World: Rethinking Global Leadership.” During the session, she emphasized the importance of international support for youth and social entrepreneurship, as well as the need to strengthen women’s leadership on a global scale.
Additionally, on the sidelines of the summit, Tatyana Seliverstova presented key initiatives currently being implemented, including the International BRICS “TOP-100 Entrepreneurs” Award, the BRICS Business Incubator, and the SCO Business Incubator. All participants were invited to engage in these projects.
As a result of the summit, a proposal package will be submitted to the New Development Bank (NDB) of BRICS, outlining initiatives for the creation of a fund to support women-led startups, social projects, and international experience-sharing programs. Tatyana Seliverstova was one of the key initiators of this fund.
In an interview with TASS, Tatyana highlighted that summit participants expect concrete steps from the NDB in launching mechanisms to support women’s and youth initiatives. These tools will not only enhance cooperation but also create impactful projects that transform people’s lives.
