From 5 to 13 November 2025, the second on-site stage of the SCO Business Incubator was held in China under the umbrella of the SCO Youth Camp. The program brought together young entrepreneurs, experts, and representatives of the SCO member states, becoming one of the key international platforms for the development of innovation and youth entrepreneurship.
The official opening ceremony took place in Qingdao. Tatiana Seliverstova, Director of the SCO Business Incubator, Member of the Board of the Autonomous Non-Profit Organization “Leaders of International Cooperation,” and Founder of Consult Invest ITIC, delivered a welcoming address, highlighting the importance of the SCO Business Incubator, which provides young entrepreneurs with the opportunity to develop their business projects on the international stage. The opening ceremony was also attended by Xu Xiao, Chairman of the All-China Youth Federation (ACYF), which has long been a partner of Russia in implementing international youth acceleration programs.
The activities of the SCO Business Incubator were held across three cities — Qingdao, Jinyang, and Urumqi — where participants engaged in educational sessions, project work, expert meetings, master classes, and presentations of innovative solutions. Young entrepreneurs showcased their projects, received professional mentorship support, and expanded their international business connections.
A significant part of the program included visits to leading global enterprises and research centers demonstrating China’s advanced achievements in industry, the IT sector, and science. Among them:
A key event of the program was the meeting of the SCO Business Incubator’s Mentors and Investors Club, where participants reviewed the results of the 2025 cycle and outlined plans for 2026. The meeting resulted in the formation of a joint agenda aimed at expanding the international mentoring network and strengthening cooperation among entrepreneurs, experts, and investors from SCO member states.
The program concluded with the Youth Entrepreneurship Seminar held in Urumqi on the topic “Youth Entrepreneurship for Sustainable Development.” Participants discussed current trends, mechanisms of institutional support, and the role of youth-led initiatives in promoting sustainable development across the SCO region.
