A Seminar on Youth Entrepreneurship Held within the SCO Youth Camp in China

A seminar titled “Youth Entrepreneurship for Sustainable Development” was held in Urumqi, PRC, on 10 November 2025.

Among the participants were young leaders, representatives of government structures, business communities, and public organizations from SCO member states engaged in the development of innovative projects, startup support, and the promotion of sustainable development initiatives among the youth.

▶️ Alexey Ezhov, Chairman of the Board of ANO “Leaders of International Cooperation,” presented a report on the activities of the SCO Business Incubator.

Today, the Business Incubator serves as a platform that unites experts and mentors from the SCO member states, supports the formation of transnational project teams, and facilitates the implementation of joint initiatives aimed at developing an innovative economy and building sustainable connections among young people across SCO countries.

▶️ Denis Kim, General Director of the International Trade and Investment Company “Consult Invest ITIC,” spoke about the agreements reached within the activities of the SCO Business Incubator Mentors and Investors Club regarding the implementation of events in 2026. He emphasized that these initiatives will expand international cooperation, stimulate knowledge exchange, and strengthen sustainable entrepreneurial ties among the youth of the SCO member states.

In addition, participants discussed:

⚡️ key trends in the field of youth entrepreneurship;

⚡️ mechanisms of governmental and institutional support for young entrepreneurs;

⚡️ the development of an international interaction ecosystem among SCO countries.

Special attention was given to the advancement of green technologies, digital solutions, creative industries, and social innovations aimed at achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.
