From September 5 to 7, 2023, the leadership of Shandong Province, People's Republic of China, visited the Republic of Uzbekistan.
During the visit, meetings were held with the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers, the Tashkent Chemical-Technological Institute, and visits were organized to major enterprises in Tashkent.
In addition, the Chinese delegation visited the Representation of the Chinese Technology Transfer Center for the member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in Tashkent. Consult Invest ITIC is the official representative of the Chinese Center within the SCO, and the founder and head of Consult Invest ITIC, Tatiana Seliverstova, serves as an Advisor to the Director of the Chinese Center.
As a result of the events, Sun Haisheng, the Director of the Department of Science and Technology of Shandong Province, signed a Cooperation Agreement with Farhod Jumayev, the Director of the National Technology Transfer Office under the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
